Hello to everyone. Our Troop has a new website design at http://www.troop9460.org/ which makes content more easily found and available. It is still a work in progress however so please bare with us while we work things out.

Congratulations from the entire Troop to Jesse, Josh, Aaron, Mike and Austin for obtaining CIT (Counselor in Training) Staff Positions at Crystal Lake Scout Reservation for Summer of 2013. Way to go Gentlemen!
Troop Committee approves new Troop Handbook.

The Troop Committee approved the new Troop Handbook last night which went through a review and revision process during the past Scout year. The Troop Handbook contains specific details about what a boy-led troop is, how our Troop’s youth leadership position elections work, our Troop’s Behavior and Discipline Policy, protocol for Troop camp outs and activities, expectations for parent involvement with their boy(s) and much more.
I encourage you to spend a few minutes reading through the information and please do not hesitate to ask the Scoutmaster, an Assistant Scoutmaster, or a Committee Member, any questions that you might have.
